Quilting Stitch

Modern-day quilting is done by choice not by necessity.

The quilt shown here is one of my grandmother’s, Alma Dunkle. My grandmother turned 102 on August 8, 2013 and she still quotes. Or I probably should say she still makes quilt tops. I believe she gave up paying quilting a few years ago.

I do machine quilting out of the studio here in my home for other ladies that quilt. I also make quilted items for sale here on my website.

The items I am offering for sale are quilted tea cozies, pocketbook inserts, tea pockets, quilted purse kits, baby or children’s cuddle quilts, precut quilt kits, quilted placemats, table runners, table toppers, and Christmas stocking kits. I don’t usually have everything available at the same time since it does take a while to make them up. The selection is always changing depending on what I have available, and sometimes I don’t have anything available in a particular category.

This section of my website is just for items that I have available for sale. For information on having something machine quilted, please go to www.quiltingstitch.com for information.
